closed to the message.

frank herbert was a smart man
so i can only assume
that his message is
that even
the smartest and the most powerful
person in the universe
can end up
wasting time with politics
instead
of doing something more useful

words are not a message from god
words are our failed attempt to find god
god is not in the words
god is beyond the words

shitty poetry has no respect for
style, grammar, coolness, popularity,
and exists only for the message
whatever it might be

spectacle is fun but stupid.
her message is not fun but smart.
together they are fun and smart.
